The weekend was a mixed success.

Friday we couldn't find a rental copy of Matrix (for the refresher - I hadn't seen it again since I saw it in the theatre with Susie), so we had apps with Terry and borrowed her copy. Watched that, and all the 'how-to' stuff afterwards, and crashed out.

Saturday we got up fairly early and made it up to the Temple of Karnak for Reloaded. Yes, the ending is, well, lame (that's not a spoiler, all the reviewers have been saying it!) but the movie rocked. The idiots behind us who brought several small children (including the girl who couldn't have been more than about three or four) should have been shot, but otherwise, it was good. We had to sit closer than I liked but we lived. Decent previews for Finding Nemo among others.

Unfortunately, somewhere in the proceedings we lost Steve's wallet. It is still AWOL, although thus far no one has used any of the credit cards or anything, so we're still hopeful of getting it back in one piece - replacing some of the stuff in it will be a pain.

Had a fight in the car, got home, sulked, made up, felt low all afternoon. Had a nice party time in the evening, marred only by the Quest for Wallet (which we only discovered was missing as we were leaving....)

We were noshy-hungry on the way home, so stopped for food at Silver Diner. Good food, but a mistake, as it triggered a miserable gall-bladder thing later in the evening/morning. So, not much sleep and general pain all day Sunday. Not productive. Well, not much. Watched Treasure Planet, ate dinner, crashed again....
